I'm the Global CEO for Hotwire. I've spent my entire career immersed in technology, and moved over to Hotwire from Eastwick Communications after its acquisition in 2016. As well as agency experience I've a wide range of in-house knowledge. At Autodesk, I focused on integrated brand communications and led the development of the company’s first sustainability report and I played an integral role in Enphase’s successful IPO and aggressive expansion into Europe.
I'm Hotwire’s Global CFO, responsible for our finances across all of our offices. I trained as a Chartered Accountant with BDO in London. My career in the public relations industry began in 2003 when I joined Burson Marsteller as Finance Director in their London office. I have a real passion for developing and supporting commercial relationships and a proven track record in supporting client teams to win and retain business.
I’m Global Head of Technology and Innovation for Hotwire. I have spent my entire life in technology and building solutions that move companies forward. My 20+ years of experience includes aerospace, gaming, and education. I love bridging the gap between technology and the magic of client experience through data, insights, and automation.
I head up the UK marketing team at Hotwire. Prior to joining forces with Hotwire, I set up McDonald Butler with Maeve McDonald, and held a variety of senior business development positions, including Director at World Sports Group, managing sales sponsorship and marketing programmes across a range of brands. I like to believe that no challenge is too big and have an ethos of ‘let’s make it happen’, which resonates throughout the organisation.
I head up the Account-based Marketing (ABM) practice at Hotwire, working with our clients to help support their business objectives and drive strategic account growth. I joined forces with Hotwire as part of the McDonald Butler acquisition, bringing with us over 15-years’ heritage in ABM and B2B tech marketing and consulting. Before that, I worked client side in various senior marketing roles, including CMO for two tech start-ups and senior marketing positions across both B2B and B2B organisations and brands (IBM, BBC, Hard Rock Café, Pepsi). My passion is working with teams and brands to help find solutions to their most difficult business challenges and delivering real business impact and ROI.
UK ABM (ACCOUNT-BASED MARKETING) LEAD
I am the Head of Client Services for Hotwire in the UK. It’s my responsibility to understand our client’s markets and business goals, and work with our team members to deliver work that makes a real impact. Collaborating with clients to share learnings and connect them with peers across our network is also in my remit – it’s important to me that, at a personal level, clients see Hotwire as a partner to advance their own careers. I have specialisms in crisis communications, executive narratives and analyst relations. My experience ranges from start-ups as well as some of the largest tech brands on earth, including NTT Ltd., Dell, Orange, Visa, Nokia, Red Hat and Thales.
Ute has over 20 years of experience in corporate comms, strategic consulting and issue management. A specialist in brand communications and social media, Ute has created high-profile campaigns for renowned automobile and tech brands like BMW, Porsche, Amazon, Intel, Sony and Rockstar Games. Her career also includes time as Head of PR for MTV Germany. You can talk to her about anything related to tech, music, books and digital culture.
